Meet Belladonna

My name by Birth is Katharine, by practice, Belladonna. I first took interest in The Craft around 13 when I found my mothers Tarot Deck. Having been raised in the south and surrounded by Christianity My belief system was more forced than genuine. The Southern Baptist views of my community, while I respected it, didn’t quite suit me. So, my mother in all of her wisdom introduced me to Paganism, a term born of Christian rhetoric but symbolizing the beautiful and wonderful polytheistic belief system of my ancestors. It was then that I began studying every bit of text I could get my hands on. And here I am, eleven years later and I’m still learning, expanding, and strengthening my practice. There are many paths and traditions to choose from while discovering your own “type” of witchery. I myself, by definition would be considered an eclectic hedge witch. I simply view myself as I am, and as you are.
